We had a great visit at the US District Court to visit my Judge and her secretary from my clerkship days. Ezra had a blast, and couldn't get enough of asking the Judge to spin him around on the chair. She let him sit on the bench, and Ezra, who has inherited my love of singing and music, tried to turn the bench into a karaoke open mike night. Also, apparently, Ezra and Arlo got to ride in the elevator with a famous rapper who was on his way to enter a guilty plea. We ate a delicious lunch of pulled pork (Noah), fried chicken and waffles (Rach) and mac and cheese (Ez) afterward, and got stuck in a torrential rain -- but luckily we parked only a half block away.
