Happy New Year (Chinese & Jan 1!)

In the last few months, Arlo has really started growing from a baby into a little boy. He and Ezra play together now, and they really like snuggling and playing with cars. Arlo also eats like me -- yay! Ezra is a little Noah in the eating department (hates pickled things, is weird about mushy textures, hates olives, doesn't want to eat "grass"). Arlo, on the other hand, couldn't get enough of sucking on my pickle. OK, that sounds weird, but I didn't mean for it to. He also really likes samusa soup from burma superstar.
Anyway, it's been a real joy watching him and Ezra enjoy each other's company and laugh at each other. It is really special watching your kids grow into brotherhood like that. Above, there's a good picture of the boys rolling around on the couch. The one outside of Arlo is on New Years day -- we took a hike on Tennessee Valley Road to the beach. Unfortunately, Ezra fell asleep on the walk so he didn't get to see the beach -- it turns out he was at the beginning of a bit of a cold.
